Now divorced from high school sweetheart Katie. Has two college-aged sons who attend the University of Louisville, much to his chagrin.
Works in in a position with top security clearance, called away all the time for secret, out-of-the-country assignments.
He lives on a 45' Ketch he keeps in the Baltimore Inner Harbor, though he also has a small apartment in Northern Virginia, just minutes from his DC office.

After their divorce, Katie met a dentist who lives in Louisville so she moved back to KY to be with him and to be closer their sons, Danny and Keith, who attend UofL.
AngelFire Farms, Main House
The Rowan family horsefarm that Sam's father managed, and raised his family on, just outside Lexington, Kentucky.
This was was the home and the lifestyle that Katie was accustomed to living. Living with Sam was a 180 but the couple made it work for over 20 years.
